Bella's Pumpkin Spice Cake Pop Recipe

I love making pops for holidays, and Halloween inspires me with fall flavors and colors. The pumpkin spice mixed with dark chocolate and crunchy sprinkles is unlike any other recipe I make! I hope you enjoy making them!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix 

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree

  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

  • 1/8 heaping teaspoon ground cloves or allspice

  • 4 Tablespoons vanilla cream cheese frosting

  • 1 bag dark chocolate chips

  • 1 container Halloween sprinkles

DIRECTIONS

  1. Make the cake according to directions on box, except replace water/liquid with 1 cup pumpkin puree for extra flavor.

  2. Add all spices into mixture.

  3. Bake according to directions on box. Let cool.

  4. Crumble cake with a fork.

  5. Mix in frosting.

  6. Form 1-inch cake balls.

  7. Insert a 6-inch pop stick into each cake ball.

  8. Dip cake balls into dark chocolate.

  9. Decorate with Halloween sprinkles.

Bella's Basic Cake Pop Recipe
  1. Bake a cake following the instructions on the box.

  2. When the cake is out of the oven, put it in the fridge to cool for 30 mins to an hour.

  3. Take it out and crumble it up.

  4. Mix any frosting with it (I use two Tablespoons at a time).

  5. Roll the mix into one-inch balls and put them in the freezer for at least an hour.

  6. Next, put them on lollipop sticks working a few pops at a time.

  7. Dip then in melted chocolate or candy melts. A bit of coconut oil helps to make it smooth and shiny.

  8. Decorate with sprinkles, candy or icing.

  9. Enjoy!
